Sell Ores Floors & Unlocks: Costs, Furnace and Fuser
Costs revised:
Floor by floor
Costs are what players paid on screen; where a figure was not visible the cell says so rather than guessing. Slot prices inside a floor are separate from the floor price.
| Floor | Unlock cost | What it adds | Confidence |
|---|---|---|---|
| Floor 1 | Free | Seven mining slots, one drill drone, the upgrade board (ore luck, drill yield, drill speed, ore regen) and the roll pedestals. | Tutorial |
| Floor 2 | $10,000 | Your first Boost Pedestal: place a spare ore on it for a base-wide money boost (works only while online). | Four separate playthroughs |
| Floor 3 | about $150,000 | The Furnace ($150,000 to build): crates dropped in are processed for +50% money, and it can be upgraded. | One playthrough; treat the unlock cost as approximate |
| Floor 4 | $1,000,000 | More slots and its own upgrade board. Upgrade prices are roughly five times Floor 2's. | Two playthroughs |
| Floors 5 and 6 | not read off screen | Extra Boost Pedestals appear on some of these floors (a second pedestal cost about $1B). | Two playthroughs |
| Floor 7 | $100B | The Fuser ($100B to build): five identical ores fuse into one Mega Ore. | Sept 1 update footage |
| Floor 8 | $1T | More slots; individual top slots cost $1T to $150T each. | Sept 1 update footage |
| Floor 9 | not read off screen | More slots. Drill speed upgrades here cost more than most bases earn. | One playthrough |
| Floor 10+ | $1 quadrillion for a late floor | The tower keeps going; one player filled ten floors and still had unopened tiers above. | Two playthroughs |
The three machines floors unlock
Boost Pedestal (Floor 2, more on higher floors)
Place a spare ore on the pedestal and the whole base earns more. The boost scales with the ore's tier: a Sapphire gave 21%, a Nebulite 47%, a God Stone 76%, a Devil Crystal 88%, an Omnipotence 110% and a First Star 150%. It works only while you are online, so it is the one thing that does not carry into offline earnings.
Furnace (Floor 3, $150,000)
Drop crates into the Furnace instead of selling them raw and they are processed for 50% more money. It has its own upgrade line and it can fall behind: at endgame the queue number on the Furnace keeps rising because it processes slower than the base produces, and upgrading it is the fix.
Fuser (Floor 7, $100B, on Floor 7)
- Input: Five ores of the same kind (only matching ores can be placed).
- Output: One Mega Ore worth about three times a single copy.
- Time: 15 to 45 minutes observed, skippable with a time skip.
- Warning: Mega Ores lose all mutations and levels, so fuse unlevelled spares, never your coated keepers.
Five Nebulas made one Mega Nebula worth about three times a single Nebula, which is less than the five copies were worth spread across five slots. The Fuser is for freeing slots once a floor is full, not for raw income.
When to buy the next floor
- Fill the current floor's seven slots with ores at least one band above what you started with, and press Equip Best.
- Max the floor's Drill Speed. It caps low (three levels on Floor 1) and is cheap relative to the floor.
- Buy the floor only when the price is under an hour of income. The new floor's upgrades will cost about five times your current floor's, so a floor you cannot afford to upgrade earns almost nothing.
- Move your best ores down, not up. The bottom floors have the cheapest upgrades and the most levels bought, so they are where your Transcendent ores belong.
Every upgrade on the board is explained on the upgrades page; the ores you are chasing for each band are on the ore index.
